My boyfriend’s family comes from the south of the state of Oaxaca, in Mexico. All the regions have their traditional costumes, that you can see during the Guelaguetza, in Oaxaca, in July. Normally all the families have typical costumes from the region they originally come from and one more step for making me belong, was to get dressed like them. These dresses are all hand made and very expensive. All the neckless and earrings are made of pure gold. Jorge took some (a lot) photos of me and we even went to a beautiful neighborhood called Jalatlaco to take more photos. If you are in Oaxaca and have the opportunity, visit it!
