African markets, the most exotic, colorful and interesting places I have ever visited! Whenever I am somewhere in Africa I try to visit a market and this visit to Abidjan was no different! The Treichville Market! The whole sensory experience is mesmerizing, the patterns, the colors, the new flavors, the smells, the people, who both ask to be photographed, or cover their faces or refuse, if we ask. It is an hour in the middle of those 48 hours that challenges us, that makes us think how there are so many different ways of living, that makes us wonder how they look at us when they visit us in our country, what they would photograph to show at home, what stories would they tell, like the one I’m telling you now?
